Hello again my lovelies! I've been getting a ton of emails asking when book 4 is coming out & I thought that I'd address the release date here on my blog.
I've been struggling with this decision for weeks and it has not been an easy one for me. I originally said that book 4 would be ready by March 5, 2013 but I don't think I'm going to be able to have it ready for you that soon. I know this news is disappointing to you guys and I'm really, truly sorry it won't be ready by then.
Book 4 is a bit different than the previous 3 books in the Skye Morrison Vampire Series. Book 4 introduces a changed Skye & with that, all the problems that come up for her. Legacy of Blood has a lot going on in it and I won't lie, I've struggled with a bit of writers block a few times during the last few months. Because of those blocks, rewrites & doubts, book 4 is taking longer than expected.
I honestly thought that I could get this book out as easily as the last two, but that's just not the case this time. It kills me to disappoint you guys but it'll disappoint you even more if I rush the story & put out less than the quality that you expect. Skye's story deserves better than that, I think.
So, that being said, I'm going to try for a late April 2013 release date. If something happens & I can release it sooner, I most definitely will.
I hope you lovelies aren't too upset with me. Being an avid reader myself, I know what it's like to wait for the next book in a series to come out. It's excruciating normally, but add a cliff hanger ending & it makes waiting twice as hard. But I promise...book 4 will not have a cliff hanger ending in it!
