"I'm assuming this is an annoying question I'm about to ask, especially with what sounds like a lot of hardships you have had to over come. I really do pray everything has gotten better. I know we are just fans, but I hope a small part of our love for your writing helps. Even a little. I wish to know if you plan on finishing Retribution of Sins? Or do I just need to force myself to forget about this great series? Lol. I would really like to know. I'm always 're-reading the series in hope that you will come out with the next one. I hope you reply.
I appreciate your email this morning. In truth, this is the first reader email I've responded to in months. I've been avoiding the "when is book 6 coming out" issue (horrible I know!) because I haven't had the response readers would like to hear. And frankly, I'm sad that my writing career has come to this.
After my surgery and divorce, I had to go to work full time and put aside my writing for a while. Well, my having 1 job turned into having 2 jobs and I now work about 60-65 hours a week and have been since December. As you can imagine, this leaves me pretty tired and with very, very little down time. But, the good news is, I do write when I can. I'm a little over half way through Retribution of Sins and would be a lot further if my work schedule wasn't so crazy. I'm planning on using my vacation time this summer to sit down and do nothing but write.
I will continue to write Skye's story, as I have at least 3-4 more books already plotted out, but I won't be able to crank them out as fast as I used to because I am not able to write full-time anymore. But, please don't give up on me or the series. We are still here and slowly making progress.
Thank you for being so amazingly supportive and for loving my characters as much as I do. You rock, miss Abby!
....and big hugs to YOU as well!
